ISJ has a long history of initiating conferences, workshops, and symposiums, at various locations locally, nationally, and international.  The institute has worked in the criminal justice system with law enforcement officers, researchers, correction officials in the area of probation and parole, juvenile justice specialists and professors.

Venture onto a 1st Class International Educational & Cultural Exchange Program for Criminal Justice and Legal Professionals

The journey begins on March 16, 2010.  Visit seven countries (England, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy).  You will have the opportunity to visit these countries traveling on the Eurostar Train or the "Bullet Train", which is known as the fastest train in the world.  While traveling by train, you'll "eat, sleep and be merry" because this is an experience of a lifetime!  You will meet with the counterparts in your profession or field of expertise in seven international cities to discuss "best practices" in violence prevention, law enforcement and social science fields. You can exchange information and ideas, discuss community policing, crime prevention, probation & parole programs, re-entry programs,  community correction programs, substance abuse and youth programs and court issues, as well, while visiting the courts.  This will open the door to collaboration and partnership.  The camaraderie will be immeasurable!
